To reset a tripped breaker, push the breaker lever completely to the (OFF) position. Then push the breaker lever completely to the (ON) position. If the breaker continues to trip, give us a call and we'll be happy to come out and resolve the issue.
When customers have a service done to their HVAC system, like a duct cleaning service, or a tune up, the furnace switch is turned off to complete that service. Unfortunately, that switch is sometimes left in the (OFF) position, leaving the system with no power.
HVAC thermostats have become more advanced throughout the years, making them a little more complicated to understand and operate. Checking your thermostat setting is always a good idea. Making sure to check "hold temp" and programmable settings.
One of the most common problems found is a blocked air filter. A blocked air filter can cause several problems with a heating and air conditioning system. From furnace overheating, to frozen A/C coils. The condition of your air filter is critical for efficient HVAC operation.
We recommend that battery powered thermostats have replacement batteries installed once a year, or when the battery icon is present on the thermostat display. This is a good place to check if your system is inoperable. Some thermostats have slots that allow battery replacement without detachment from the subbase or wall.
If your AC system is not functioning properly and you detect ice anywhere, we recommend that your AC system be shut down completely until technician arrival. This will give your system a chance to thaw before AC service. If a freezing AC system is left on, icing conditions will worsen and delay repair time substantially.
Getting customers the HVAC service they need as soon as possible is our top priority. If you need heating and air conditioning service today, give us a call or schedule online at your convenience.
